How To Make Smile Healthy For Different
                         Age Group



Taking good care of mouth and teeth throughout your life can help u prevent problems as you get old.

INFANTS AND CHILDREN:

First set of teeth are hiding under gums.
These teeths are important because after they come in, they let your baby chew food and talk well. They help permanent teeth grow straight.



Steps for keeping your baby smile health:


Clean the new teeth every day. When the teeth first come in , clean them by rubbing them gently with clean wet washcloth.

When the teeth are bigger , use child's tooth brush.Children under 2 years of age shouldn't use toothpaste. Instead use water to brush your child's teeth.

Don't let your baby go to sleep with a bottle because this can leave milk and juice I the mouth and Clean the new teeth everyday. When the teeth first come in,clean them by rubbing them gentlyproduce germs that cause cavities which are known as “ baby- bottle toothdecay”

Encourage your children to eat low-sugar snacks such as fruits, vegetable and cheese. Avoid giving them sticky chewy candies.

Tell them to make gargle after having snacks, food and sticky chewy candies.

Teach your children how to brush their teeth and importance of keeping teeth clean.Take your children to the dentist regularly starting at 1 year of age.

TEENS:

Taking good care of your teeth and mouth will help you have pleasant breadth, nice smile, free from cavities. So followoing few steps you can have healthy smile:

Brush your teeth regulary twice a day with flouride toothpaste.

Floss your teeth at least once a day.

Don't smoke, chew tobacco, which can stain your teeth , give bad breadth and cause cancer.
Wear the right protective headgear while playing contact sports.

Visit to a dentist every 6 months for regular check ups and cleanings.


ADULTS:




Continuing good care of mouth and teeth as an adult can help you avoid various tooth problems and mouth related diseases such as tooth pain, gum bleeding, ulcer and many more. So some helpful steps you can do for your healthy smile.

 Brush your teeth atleast twice a day with a flouride toothpaste.  
 Floss your teeth atleast once a day.

Use mouth rinse regulary that fights with germs for long.
 Don't smoke and chew tobacco.

Look inside your mouth regularly for sores that don't heal, irritated gums and for other changes. 

Ask your doctor if any medicine have a side effect that can damage your teeth. 


Visit to a dentist for regular check-ups and cleaning in every 6 months.
